Ruffles Fashion Trend (For Less!!)

I love ruffles, well at least those done in the right way. They can add so much to an outfit. Fun, flirty, and feminine are a few words that I think of when I think of ruffles.

In my having fun on Polyvore, I have seen lots of cute sets with some type of ruffles. Today, I wanted to show you some of the sets I have found and of course I want to show you my lower cost version of one of the sets.

Purple Date Night

Our first set with ruffles is this cute dress! I think I would totally own and wear this if I had the places to wear it and if I didn't need a bit more support up top (if you know what I mean). If you want to pin any of the sets or view the items, please click on the links just below the set. You will be taken to Polyvore where you can view the items and pin to your hearts content.

Untitled #104

I just love the subtle ruffles on the shirt as well as the colors in this set. If only I felt comfortable wearing short shorts, but I think not.

Picnic Joy

Love, love, love this set. I love the ruffle at the top of the shirt and of course the beautiful pink. The blue just seems to set it all off very nicely. I would love to wear this on a picnic!

Cheeky

OMG! I love the ruffles on this dress! It is so cute! Looks like the perfect summer dress to me. I also love the simple accessories as I am not a huge accessory person. This set would cost $1570. I used this set as inspiration for my low cost version.

My version of a ruffles summer dress set costs $127. That is if you choose 1 pair of shoes not both shoes. I just put both in because I couldn't decided. As I am not a huge accessory person, I probably would leave the necklace off and only wear the earrings and bracelet. I included the necklace as I think I am unusual in my dislike of necklaces.

If you want to see the full price information of the items in my set, you can click on the links above or you can click on the link to my set on Polyvore.

Have a happy ruffly week!
