Living the Creative Life with my Family and Keeping it Real Along the Way
Real Family Fun #30
Hi! Welcome to Real Family Fun link party. I’m super glad to have you here this week.
Oh my word, you guys, this week has been so busy. I knew this fall was going to be a bit nuts and I was correct. A lot of our activities have started though we will get to our full fall schedule next week.
I’ve been busy trying to finish up a few of the 15 projects I’ve had going all summer. We plan to get our school year started next week and I would really prefer that my house not be a total wreck. But, in true KC fashion, I decided to throw another project into the mix and start working on re-doing our master bedroom because I’m totally NUTS! LOL! 🙂
Anyway, the girls and I managed to finish getting the playroom reorganized and with the help of Mr. T (my husband) we got all the crap donated and a few things listed to sell on Craigslist…we are making progress! Woot! Woot!
On the blog the last couple of weeks you might have thought this was an American Girl Doll blog with all the AG projects I’ve been showing you. Hopefully you are enjoying them as I had fun sewing them and my girls have had fun playing with and using what I made. Never fear, I will be heading into fall crafts and decorating, etc. very soon. I just wasn’t quite ready to go fall yet.
This week I showed you the outfit I made for our AG dolls. I made a maxi skirt and a bandeau top for them and have some great tips and tricks for you if you want to make your own skirt or top for your dolls. Ours match the maxi skirts I made for my girls and showed you last week.
I also showed you another project in progress…my living room makeover. I started with an IKEA rug and have plenty of other plans for our living room. I just need more time and money to execute them. Well at least we know I won’t run out of blog material…hehe! 😉
So, how was your week? What projects and fun do you have to share with us this week? I’m looking forward to seeing all your creativity and fun.
