Tip: My tip for you today is simple reminder of what you likely learned in an art class somewhere in your education. It is super effective. Pick a color that is opposite on the color wheel(AKA a complementary color) to that in your picture. Doing so will make the colors in your picture ‘pop' more and/or make them seem more intense. I did this will the green in the pictures on the first page, I made those pictures stand out more by using the red background.
For the second page, I chose a analogous color or a color next to the main color in the picture (i.e., I chose a different shade of green). By doing this I gave the page a little more serene look and made it a little peaceful for the eye. I added the small bit of the complementary color not only to tie the two pages together but to add just a bit of visual interest to an otherwise very simple page.
Using the color wheel can really help enhance your scrapbook pages.
