I'm guest posting in two places today. Talk about needing to be two places at once. I think most Mom's know that feeling. Well today, I really am in two places at once and I'm super happy about it! I guest posting about laundry in one place and homeschooling in another.
First, I'm guest posting today at The Frugal Girls. If you are not familiar with Heidi's site, she has fantastic deals of all kinds listed on her site. From things like the weekly deals at CVS and Walgreen's to sales on shoes and free e-books. It is a great site. In addition to all of the deals, sales and coupons, she posts about living well on less.
I'm guest posting on her site about making homemade laundry detergent. I would love for you to click over and read about the detergent I made and my experience with it. Here is a tempting picture to entice you.
Second, I'm guest posting at Hammock Tracks. Savannah blogs about homeschooling, gardening, cooking and outdoor life. She asked me to guest post in a regular feature she has on her blog entitled, “Who Homeschools?” The goal of these posts is for people who don't homeschool to become acquainted with the homeschool lifestyle and for those who homeschool to get a peak into other homeschoolers way of doing things. I think it is a really neat idea and I have enjoyed reading other interviews.
I really liked answering the questions she asked in the interview. I hope you will enjoy reading them. Below is one question from the interview:
What was your number one concern or worry when you started out on this endeavor? Has it continued to be your main issue? Why has it changed?
- I didn't think it would work. I didn't think I had enough patience(I'm sure you've never heard someone mention this to you, right?! lol!) I didn't know if my oldest daughter and I could get along enough to actual homeschool. Sounds pretty dumb to me now. I am so thankful that I chose to homeschool. I think it has greatly altered my view of my children and our relationship. As far as if it is still an issue, well there are still days I know I don't have enough patience, but I think that comes with parenting and isn't specific to homeschooling.

Enjoy finding me in two places at once today. I'll be back in only one place tomorrow with a regular post. 🙂
