We homeschool, so our teacher gifts are a little different than the typical teacher gifts. We give them to teachers at our co-op or a teacher for a class one of my children took for the whole year. I don't know if lots of homeschooling parents do this, but we enjoy doing it because we appreciate our teachers and my kids think it is fun.
For the teacher gifts I found inspiration from a post ‘Smartie Pants Teacher Gift' on Uncommon Designs Online. I used her idea mixed with my own addition and wording. I printed the pants that I used from a Valentine post on Tip Junkie.
Here is the result for our teacher gifts this year. We added a few highlighters to our pail of Smarties. Our teachers really put a lot into the classes they teach and they really are one of the highlights of my children's school year.
Snowflake wanted to give a little something to her Girl Scout leaders as well. She is a Junior Girl Scout this year. I used the ideas I mentioned above as inspiration and came up with a cute, inexpensive gift to give her leaders.
I started with the idea of what candy to put in the little pails we found at the dollar spot at Target (affiliate link).
If you would like to make your own gift for a Girl Scout leader. Click Here to download a pdf file of the tag I made. Enjoy! (This is my first printable to offer on my blog, please leave me a comment if it is not working properly.)
