Living the Creative Life with my Family and Keeping it Real Along the Way
Real Family Fun #18
Welcome to another week of our Real Family Fun link party! I’m glad to have you here this week.
Last week was such a busy week that I didn’t have the time to comment on each blog that linked up. I did make it to look at each and every post and I really enjoyed seeing everything that has been keeping you busy.
I recently attended a blog conference, one of the things I took away is the concept of owning our time with our family and not apologizing to our readers/followers for what we are not able to do in bloggy land. So, even though I do feel bad that I couldn’t comment this week, I’m not going to apologize because there just are times that I need to step back and have some time with my family and not let this blog rule our lives. I sure hope you can understand that and that you know that even though I may not have commented on your blog, I visited and I enjoyed visiting as well!
This week I guest posted on The Frugal Girls. I showed a tutorial to make your own Star Spangled 4th of July Wreath. Head on over to see the tutorial, check out other fantastic ideas or find great deals and freebies.
This week on the blog, I shared my Keeping it Real post for this month. This month I definitely kept it real for you. I showed you some craft fails and told you how many hours I work at this blog as well as how little income I generate from this blog. That sounds pretty real to me, how about you?
Finally, I made gifts for the Girl Scout leaders in our troop. I showed you the tutorial as well as gave you a free Oprah inspirational quote printable that you can use any way you like (for personal use only).
