Since it seems that Easter is the theme d’jour on most blogs of the blogs I follow, I thought I would show you 2 pages from our Easter last year.
I love these pages. They are very simple and simple to put together and on top of that they are very visually appealing (at least to me).
I like using my own photos as the background on a page. Not only does it look really neat, but it is an easy way to add an additional picture to the page. For years I have taken pictures of the girl’s Easter baskets and scrapboooked them, now with digital scrapbooking I am able to keep this same memory/tradition and integrate it into the page design. Bonus and it looks good too!

Thank you so much!
Love the background on these! You are so clever!
Take care, Trish
Thank you so much!
Also, I’m really sorry that somehow I didn’t get your button on my blog post this week. I have no idea how that happened. I am really conscious about making sure if I link up I put them on. I know it was a week of trying to do too many things at once and this must have gotten missed. Anyway, I am sorry as I appreciate your hosting the link party and do my best to follow the rules.
Thanks for stopping by!
Cute! Love how you used the Easter Egg Baskets as a background. Thanks for linking up to Scrappy 2nd Saturdays.
Thanks! And thanks for hosting Scrappy 2nd Saturdays. It is fun to see other ideas!
I love how you use a picture for the background- such great layouts!
