Digital Delights: Easter Egg Hunt Pages

Since it seems that Easter is the theme d’jour on most blogs of the blogs I follow, I thought I would show you 2 pages from our Easter last year.

I love these pages. They are very simple and simple to put together and on top of that they are very visually appealing (at least to me).

I like using my own photos as the background on a page. Not only does it look really neat, but it is an easy way to add an additional picture to the page. For years I have taken pictures of the girl’s Easter baskets and scrapboooked them, now with digital scrapbooking I am able to keep this same memory/tradition and integrate it into the page design. Bonus and it looks good too!

Click on either picture to view it larger.

What I used:

ü   Creative Memories Storybook Software 4.0

ü  Cheerful Digital Predesigned Pages (page 1)
ü  Simple Click and Fill 12×12 Pages (page 2)
      Page 1

I started with the Simple Click and Fill page and filled it in with the elements below.

o   Photo of my daughter’s Easter basket (background)

o   NSD Fun & Fab Paper 4

Page 2

I started this page with Cheerful Predesigned Page because I liked the layout. I changed the background.

    Thank you so much!

Also, I’m really sorry that somehow I didn’t get your button on my  blog post this week. I have no idea how that happened. I am really conscious about making sure if I link up I put them on. I know it was a  week of trying to do too many things at once and this must have gotten missed. Anyway, I am sorry as I appreciate your hosting the link party and do my best to follow the rules.
    Thanks for stopping by!
