Now I realize that Easter cookies are not nearly as popular as Christmas cookies(or may not even be a thing), but since I have a thing for M&M’s, like to find cute ways to use them, and I love how they look in Mason jars, I decided to try another Mason jar cookie recipe.
You may remember the M&M Valentine heart cookie, 4th of July Oatmeal Cookie Recipe in Mason Jar, or if you have been following me since way back in the day you may remember the Christmas Gift in a Jar (which were brownies with M&M’s in them).
I think cookies/brownies in a jar are fun gift ideas or just fun to make and look at on the counter (until we make them). They are so cute! Did I mention I have a thing for the differently colored holiday M&M’s…and this time I added some cute Easter sprinkles. Oh my!
I think this year, I’m going to give these two jars to a couple of friends so they can have some fun Easter cookies. A little just because gift.
To make your Easter cookies in a jar, just add the ingredients into the 1 quart jar (affiliate link). I have a recipe for you at the bottom of this post.
Make sure you pack things down as you go or it won’t all fit into the jar. Use a spoon to help you pack each layer down.
When you get to the sprinkles layer, use your spoon to get them to the edge of the jar so they really show off. There are very few sprinkles in the center of my jar.
Finish with your M&M’s on the top.
Mmmm..this cookie recipe is very similar to a chocolate chip cookie recipe, but with M&M’s and sprinkles instead of chocolate chips. Once you have given it to whomever you are giving it, they will need to add a few ingredients (which are all listed on the free tag printable I have for you) and bake them up.
The cookies are delicious, cute, and colorful. What is better than yummy and cute? Nothing, right?
When you have your jars all ready to go, print out your free printable tags and tie them onto the jar. The tag will give the recipient the directions to finish making the cookies. Just sign in below to snag your free recipe and printable tags.
In my opinion, this cookie recipe makes an easy, cute and unexpected gift for Easter. It is also a great gift for your family. My family is loving the unexpected cookies!
